MAGICIAN

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I am a  magician with words
I always find myself knowing what it is that I need to exactly say.
Yet my love is gone here I stay.

Never again will I find a heart-warm embrace.
I am not sad this is just the look of loneliness that I wear on my face.

This lost poet will never find a person as beautiful as himself. reach out your hand, as I reach out my mind.
these are the only things that we want from each other impressions are meaningless they only act as a foolish cover

Hate me not because of what you heard
words ring untrue
Hate me because I am not the same as you

I care not to be set in your ways
I will admit that I am somewhat blind.
To them, I do not agree with the many colors that you refuse to see
