a trace
repeating a song before eyes
before the smoke and fire
the light of the early morning
i love for you to turn me on
to trace the meaning of your face
inhale stories, of ether life gone
in glows of a thousand night
in the middle eastern desert
where poets justify you in
lyrics over bonfires.
==============
i join the Bedouins ....
serenading the rababa strings
opening wounds,
of ancient martyrs
transmitting grief
every story is mine ...
do you think i'll learn?
there is no why in epics,
singing for so many, for so long.
i’d love to meet your fate
to trace the secret of your existence....
