dream

starve me with a smile
burn me over a mile
free me in overtime
pulverize the pulse
punctuate the punishment
pursue procrastination's
it’s your prophecies
when you said, " I’ll be with you forever."
but where are you?

I know a place where I would run
as flocking birds migrate
en route to notify you..
exhausting my breath,
just to be subdued by the "other" you
i’ve recited a poem for ransom,
but who will sing it in your name? ...

I caught a stroke in an iced red apple-flavored pool
with a warm fire at the edge of the alley,
behind the house
where a smiling geisha
hypnotized the dream of my dream
and I, believing that,
what I have is already real
