The Habitual Dilemma: A Sonnet of Fate and Proclivities
Thy habits, dear soul, can make or break thy fate,
For they doth shape the path that thou dost tread,
Hastening success, or making it await,
Thy every step, with heavy heart and head.
For habits, good or bad, they shape thy fate,
And guide thee on thy journey through life's road,
Leading thee to success, or to thy fate,
Of failure, with its heavy, bitter load.
So choose thy habits well, with care and thought,
For they shall be the key to all thou dost,
In shaping thy success, they shall be wrought,
With care and purpose, at all times, be just.
For in thy habits, lies thy future's fate,
Choose well, dear soul, and seal thy destiny's gate.
