Nothing Stays The Same

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Nothing remains to stay always the same.
To maintain a routine,
That meets expectations.
With few exceptions.
Like...
The awaiting to anticipate,
A lowering of taxes and the changing of facts.
And perhaps a surprising of those,
Who grow to become horrified...
When discovering life,
Doesn't guarantee anyone immortality.
Even though death is as natural,
As air to breathe and food to eat.
Inhaling to exhale in to go and out to leave.

And yet...
Many are taught to teach,
What they do in life to succeed and reach...
The heights of pinnacle achievement.
Will return to them a permanent place,
In history.
Cemented in memories to remember forever.

Until...
There comes along,
Experts in the field of deception.
With evidence and proof,
Somewhere to have found...
Dug up from the ground.
Claiming themselves to be descendents,
Of ancestors who originated...
And built ancient pyramids.
Everywhere to discover on Earth.
But not a word is mentioned,
About their black to have ethnic heritage.

Nothing stays to remain unchanged.
Especially truth kept hidden.
Until a way is found to diminish its reality.
With an updating appearance of an image.
Innovatively restored
Redefined and approved.
Marketed to accept and idolized to worship!
