The feat of our love

What would happen if you said you loved me back
Will it rain rose petals that day
Or will the clouds turn to cotton candies
What would that day look like...
Will the fallen autumn leaves rise again to congratulate us on this wonderful feat of love
Or will the birdies come along to celebrate our love with confetti and then sing a song of love for us so melodious that it feels like heaven

I get lost in contemplation sometimes when I think about this
Maybe the sky would turn pink that day
God will bless us for he would feel the euphoria from our epic tale of love
Will there also be a full moon that day, brighter and bigger than ever to tell us that he too feels elated by witnessing our epic tale of love...

Maybe this is what would happen when you tell me you love me too
or it could also be a normal day full of everyday hustle and bustle.
Who knows.....it has never happened to me
Let's just wait and watch with our hopes high and our trust in love intact
