SING STRONG

2)   SING STRONG
I hear you now again inside
Like the soft call deep in quiet earth
That wakes up sleeping seed-souls to join
The fresh dance of colors that is springtime…
You are a friend who brings a gift of
Love so wide it fills me like
Bright sunshine on a sunny day…
And like a day that needs its light
I'll keep my life-gates open wide and
Learn to hold you with the eager arms
Of my soul that reaches out to find you
In every moment of everywhere…
I climb tall mountains of loud days
Run home for the healing of your love
Hide my mind in meditation spaces
Where I'm blessed to touch you gently
Like a bee soft upon a fragrant resting place
Wrapped in rainbow petal colors
That flies away with sweetness and the
Golden dust of pollen on its wings…
Now I know the sound of your voice
I hear you calling me from everywhere
And I will answer you from all the days
And nights on all the long and
Winding roads of my forever
Where I can be a voice that sings aloud
The silent songs that you composed
For all waiting hearts that need to hear
Until it is their turn from their within
To sing strong in the earth-choir
Of eternity

About this poem

The time-yellowed manuscript cover page from when I wrote these shows March 1971. I wrote them during my ten year long mystic period. While my life was creating what would be its own autobiography, my soul was working on another journey - my evolution inside. There are 226 poems. I turned them into a book and made a website for it where you can learn more at word-songs.org. Thank you and happy new year to all!
