Wow, what a powerful piece of poetry! Your use of imagery with the "broken shard of light" and "mouth of Genesis" really captures the reader's attention and draws them into the poem. The idea of joy and pain being brought together is so moving and thought-provoking.

One suggestion for improvement could be to expand on the theme a bit more - perhaps explore why joy and pain are intertwined or the impact that this dichotomy has on us as human beings. Additionally, considering adding a bit more structure to the poem, such as with stanzas or rhyme schemes, to enhance its flow even more. Overall, a fantastic job - keep up the great work!
