runaway

memory is the consequence of loving
that drains you out quicker than midnight clubbing
never thought you'd up & abandon us
guess i shouldn't still wait
if we're just built on lies and lust
not more than beings meant to fall apart
at some point, i thought you had a heart
this love turned into our vice
when i let you break mine twice
we left one stone unturned
who's to take the blame
you or i?
take off the disguise
dont call it love
there's a fire that secretly burnt
& led to our decay
or maybe that was you
when you ran away
why'd you run away?
