Ruined Soul

Tanu Tripathi 1999 (Uttar Pradesh)

Ruined soul }
Stabbed and hurt.....
Crushed and crawled.......
Burnt and bruised.....
All torn apart...is the soul you carry within (you )heart......
All the burden that it takes....is sinking (you) deep down a unknown place.....
It hurts to carry a broken piece in your body...
The broken sound.... reminds you of all the pain.... which your beautiful soul could ever take.....
By words,by actions, by decisions,by consequences... people scratch numerous marks.....
Now you knew you couldn't get your beautiful soul back...... which once you imagined to share it with the( person) you have......
You just thought that no one would see your soul like before..... because there were marks which said all the stories untold.....
Slowly her soul was leaving her true self from the her body.......
All she could remember the past memories with her peaceful soul.....
At last she only wished for someone who could just accept her with her ruined soul...

About this poem

The poem is about a wounded soul that has been through a lot in this life. And tries to pen down its feeling how a human can not only be hurt physically but mentally also.....and how it's soul cries out its experience in the world.
