Remarkable Man

Jaylin Bryan 2003 (Los Angeles)

A heavy tired head. Two windows left her morning light shines best. In a room of his father music couldn’t caress. People cared less shadows of pain broke his face, though worn and torn eyes were low above the shore. Lips couldn’t curl together anymore. Wise beyond his youth, he conquered life’s truth. Along the great river Euphrates under a small oak tree. Words spilled for days on end, In a day one Night couldn’t win. Efforts of lengths were thrown away, people treated him nasty, all in one way. People bound his decrease. A storm brewed that never ceased. A remarkable man drinking tea found rest. In a bed none will find in their head.
