Release

I see the verse in you
the meter in your heart
I'm begging
for the next line
I'm logging
every error of momentary bliss
that stanzas of grace lead
me through your your mind
yes. your mind

it's time for me to stroke
your magic space
and invoke
a soft irregular syncopated rythem
revoked
by your inner pain

release pacifies the rhyme
in half-step time
divining the divine
release pacifies the half-step
release, a soft stroke

I want your pleasure to
exceed pure limit
I want each measure of
your verse to release
as release pacifies
your breath to beat
your earth to heat
all eternity
in time
your release

your last line
