On and on

On and on

Stop the brain
From gaining weight
Stop the brain
From going places it’s never needed

On and on
The clock ticks
Moments of worry
Moments of wonder
Were just moments that have left

No need to worry about the pain
It temporarily brings
No need to frighten yourself
With problems that are out of your grip

Move on
Move your brain to a different place
Weigh the meaning and put it away
Greet the feelings with a wave goodbye
And live every moment happily
Arms in the air and hair in the wind
Beautifully designed for mistakes and tries

On and on life seems to go
She remembers that
and suddenly life
Glows

About this poem

It’s simply about life, how short it is, how temporary feelings and moments are and how worrying about the past or even the future is completely unnecessary and how finally when you realise that, life changes completely as your perspective has changed completely
