Nothing New
Distance, fear, isolation envelope every new day
Who am I to think I can do anything
Be Liked and Loved
Be Admired, Known or Fun
Achieve anything, nuture, guide, influence anyone
Wanting to be liked, accepted
As all desire to be
Falling short at the end of every day
Always the same yesterday and today
Nothing new under the sun
About this poem
Just not in a great place
