Faded heart

Nenshree samal 2008 (Bhubaneswar)

The sun finally rested,
from lighting all those faces.
Who stayed awake under the moon's light, to get all those traces.
Of all the things they went through,
The scars that burned right through.

The heart got burned from all those words that were heated under the shades of
hatred.
Yet i try to hold onto all those lifeless memories.
Cause they were so close to my heart, that they failed to live without it.

Can you please hold onto me?
Can you please kiss every part of me?
Till it seeps so deep that it could finally, wash away the ashes of my grieve.

Can you please save me,
Can you please take away every part of me.
That reminds me of the day,
Everything went away.

And until i fill my void self,
With every piece of your memory.
Till i create this new place,
Where i can finally rest in peace.
