Artificial today

Artificial today
When the day begins,
The lights go out
Till night.
The sky floods with brightness,
And the sun angles a glare at the
Television set and the lights blink off.
The blinds are closed in places and opened again
In others as people begin their day.
They ride down the elevator,
And they dont walk.
They are too tired to make food
And so they open the freezer and
Get the frozen waffles and get a plate.
They throw the food on the stove in a pan
And they leave to get ready and
When they come to get the food,
It's still frozen and they forgot to
Turn the stove on and they have to go
To work now. They are hungry and they
Go to the car and they drive to a coffee shop
And they get a sandwich.
But when they get to work they leave their
Food in the car and when they get inside their
Boss is angry and is yelling. They remember that
They get paid today so they finish the day
And go to the car.
They are happy but they get in the car and
It smells bad and they remember the food
And they look for it,
But they cant find it so they have to use
Their money to get someone to find it
And they are mad again and so they go home and sleep and wake
Up the next day to do it again.
