A roller-coaster life

Back to square one, on the life long journey
You always find yourself in ride of a roller-coaster
Where you get those butterflies in the stomach, eyes closed, fingers crossed,
Searching for a hand to be a supporter in the journey of roller-coaster,
Both hoping for a memorable ride
Though both opposites, but tends to be on the same track
But there is this always one big, speedy drop in the ride, where you start feeling those goosebumps again
When heart says,
" F*ck, you made a mistake"
That is when the ride takes a turn
Looking at the joy and beauty around,
You re-think on the idea of a roller-coaster,
With faith in eyes, courage in heart
You finally out of fear, screaming from the bottom of your heart
Shivering out of the journey
But why then when the ride stopped,
Heart whispered with no courage, "once more?"
Maybe that's the beauty of roller-coaster,
Maybe you can enjoy your ride only when you are courageous enough to open your eyes and look at the beauty, face the fear
And still hope for the other drop,
Only because you get to enjoy that mysterious turn.

I am student pursuing Graduation right now. Since childhood, I was mesmerized with the concept of jotting down things when felt stuck in life. Therefore, when I grew up, I found myself writing my feelings and encouraging creativity with use of words. more…
