Haiku Theory: CONTEMPLATION

Haiku Theory: CONTEMPLATION

We gaze and we drift
as we contemplate our lives
Unique in our minds

Alone in the dark
Writing poems about life
Watching it pass by

The journey we take
Is a journey we endure
In hope of freedom

As the flower wilts
the earth beneath gets reborn
with deceased petals

We long to be free
To dwell in eternity
Enraptured by love
