The sand artist of Time

During the fading moments of the year 2022
the sand artist had completed all he wanted to do,
and sat down to watch the tide of time rushing in
washing the beach clear for the new year to begin.

Then with the loving use of kind words and deeds,
as the New Year started,  once more he proceeds
to compose a brand-new masterpiece for all to see,
on the canvas of life that we all call 2023.
