The 107th

Up against it, are we?

And don’t know where to turn.

The wanderings, the hungerings

The dire straits that burn.

The crops have failed.

The guiltless jailed.

The wicked in control.

And seas will churn

Tornados turn

We find no place of peace.

Is there no haven restful?

No judge’s fair release?

And where is God in all of this?

We trusted, gave our Oath.

We wait and whine

Through these hard times

Faith’s children, gave our troth.

Still there were days

When rescue came.

Deliverance from on high.

His Goodness is available

Still comes, in His Great Name.

So let all men and children sweet

Delight, and praise His fame.
