Erie's Wrath
When winter grips her rugged shores
With wave and wind, enraged she roars
The peaceful mask of autumn's grace
With rage now worn, a wrathful face
Her awesome might, now on display
Each crushing blow, each passing day
With frigid snow, and stinging wind
Her calming tone, does she rescind
Man burdened by her crippling weight
Take shelter now, not tempting fate
