I worry

GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)

They say I am a worry warrior
But I worry they are wholly wrong
I am worried sick with worry
To make any worthy warrior

I worry I will be hit by a lorry
I worry I will fall from a storey
I worry I will get into a parry
I worry too much, I am sorry!

I worry my sight will go foggy
I worry my hair will go shaggy
I worry my brain will grow soggy
I worry too much, it gets buggy!

I worry that the sky will fall
I worry that the loan shark will call
I worry that my kid needs a doll
I worry too much, it becomes a droll!

I worry when I will marry
I worry when I will write a story
I worry when I will get into a folly
I worry too much, it must be silly!

I worry I am too busy
I worry you think me easy
I worry they are in a dizzy
I worry too much, it drives me crazy!

I worry anytime and every time
And I worry that I am always worried
But worrying about my worrying
Only makes me more worried

I worry
