Saint Mario

When I think of my dad, I remember how he loved his family.
No matter how they spoke to him or how they treated him, he just loved us.

My dad didn't always live a happy life, sometimes it was filled with strife.
Other times we had the best of times, we all just got along.

Looking back I can now see of all the people in my family, my dad was the one person who truly accepted each one of us as is.

He didn't ask us to change to suite some preconceived idea he had, he just loved no matter what came his way.
He was truly a remarkable man.
