Shadow
A man is walking, alone, and contemplating.
There he sees a light, a light that can be seen from afar.
A light that symbols hope and inspiration,
that guides and leads you to a brighter path.
There he walked into the light, that shines bright.
He's filled with calmness and joy, as he is in the light, fear was gone as he feels safe.
As he passed through the light, he saw his shadow in front of him, wondering what caused this.
He sees pure blank, emptiness, walking that mirrors himself.
Then he realized, he's the shadow.
The light that is no more with him.
The light that's now behind him.
The light that he won't be able to stay with.
Will there be new light?
That light where he stays, no shadow will be formed and seen?
He walks once again in the dark, alone, and contemplating once again.
About this poem
A man who's been in the dark for a long time, saw a light hoping that it will save him, however this does not show good endings.
