Extensión
Corrí,
corrí como nunca,
y no me cansé,
todo fue distinto
desde esa vez.
Estábamos en la finca,
no entiendo exactamente
que fue lo que pasó,
no me volvieron a escuchar,
no tengo con quien jugar.
Como fiel guardián,
permanecí en la casa
que se convirtió en mi vida,
y aunque no me veían,
les mostraba cariño con mi lamida.
Con el pasar de los años,
empacaron todo en un camión
y llegó una nueva familia,
no fue fácil, a nadie conocía,
la desesperación me consumía.
Costumbre y adaptación,
la regla básica de la existencia,
aceptar con mucho dolor;
lo bueno es que tenían un perro
que sí sentía mi olor.
Y así avanzó el reloj,
con soledad y con tristeza,
ahora todo tiene sentido,
por eso es que los fantasmas
se lamentan y se quejan.
Mi hogar se volvió oscuro,
apagado y abandonado,
un sitio aislado
que atrajo vagabundos
y a varios brujos.
Atado a ese lugar,
tuve que presenciar,
sacrificios de pollos,
perros y gatos,
a una bestia querían invocar.
Asustado y resignado,
me obligaron a gruñir,
a asustar con agresividad,
¿a quienes?, se preguntarán,
a los que cuentan mi misma historia.
Acá no se aprecia el tiempo,
parece que fue ayer,
el líder lanzaba la pelota
y yo la recogía
como su leal mascota.
No entiendo
por qué pasan las cosas,
ni entiendo en qué momento,
perdí todo, absolutamente todo
lo que me mantenía contento.
Sin embargo, me quedé
porque siempre confié en él,
y no me equivoqué
pues una esfera brillante
pronunció mi nombre.
En ese instante todo se reveló,
me enteré que mi amo murió
y los pasos que había dado recorrió,
y al verme supo, por qué
su servidor no había ido al cielo.
Una parte de su ser,
había quedado penando
en el plano terrenal,
pues un animal de compañía
une su energía con la de quien lo cría.
