Jarring Peace

Blaire Witch

The battefield is made still,
And I sense something awry.
Inner anger has been killed -
The coldness within subsides.

The snowy ground is melted,
As if Spring had just arrived.
I shed my shield and helmet
As warm tears pour from my eyes.
