My Make-Believe World

In this world
Thats revolves with no care,

Is yearning for freedom
Such a sin?
Should strumfrei
Fill me with guilt?

Does longing liberty
Make you an outcast?
Can leisures
Turn someone lazy?

If so....today I want my paracosmic work,
To Engulf me to the world
Of Friendly Dragons and Brave Griffins,
Naughty Fairies and Handsome Princes,
Gracious Bandersnatchs and chatty Dryads,
Loyal Familiars and Mother Cynefin,

Then Breathe freely till I end;
Listening to rustling trees,
Howling beasts,
Chirping birds,
Grugling brooks,
Whistling winds,
And my creatures besides me.

About this poem

The poem is about a girl who feels that there is no freedom in reality....so she escapes by leaping into one of her fantacy works....until her final moments is spent with nature freely.
