Fallen Stars

It's dark now
and  the stars seem to be falling
The moon would blanket me in the face of uncertainty , but not anymore
Why won't you blanket me anymore ?

I now find myself avoiding sleep
with the stars staring straight at me
Each one holding nothing but memories
Memories of a life  no longer mine
I miss you miserably dear

It's so dark now ,and the stars have fallen from your crown
Just like I fear, the love has faded from your heart ,
I miss the sound of your heartbeat
I miss those warm hands I used to call home

I  stare endlessly into the dark blue sky
as time eats away my days,
waiting,
hoping you'll come .
Only the stars know the secret of my tears ,
only my pages listen to my cries
Oh ,how my heart grows heavy out here
So far away from you
I miss you miserably dear
