If You Don't Know

If you don't know what you should know.
And repeatedly disbelieve,
What you hear with your ears and eyes to see.
With a refusing to listen,
To those who tell you done heard told.
It is time to grow not only older but up.

Yet...
This to comprehend,
Begins to offend your understanding.
As if to pass a test,
Would embarrass the fact...
You are not prepared for the task.
Where on Earth has your aspirations been?
Awaiting for time,
To find an easier way in your mind to begin?

It is suggested,
Advisable and also recommended...
That perhaps you may consider,
Lowering your nose.
To then examine the truth of reality.
For what it is that seems to be in conflict,
With your version to delude and deny...
Many are discovering a way of life to live,
Without fiction to address...
The obviousness of pretensions meant.
If you don't know what you should know,
Ask!

Don't be afraid to feel a fool.
Or choose to accept the staying to be one!

There are too many already,
Competing to be identified...
As the best clowns around anywhere found!
Leave them feeling proud,
To have won that contest by themselves.
In a public display of celebration.
Seeking power over followers to torment!
