The Widow

What happy days she had
When her husband was alive
Their life beautiful like an olive
A demigod among her friends
As her decision was final
Her voice stronger than a rhino

Every night on her knees she pray
It's only You Lord I rely
Remember me and hear my cry
Am righteous but my best I try
Please don't let my cup run dry
Give me Your wings that I should fly

Taking care of her children
Abandoned by her in-laws
Going to bed with heavy chores
Her faith developing sores
Luckily she have courage and goals
Faith and hope is what she sows
