Through the ages

Comes the phrase

Of matchless worth.

Angels sang it

One sweet evening

Comes a Babe

For peace on Earth.

Mild He lays

His Glory by

Prince of Heaven

Rends the Sky

Humbly so

That men might see

New Hope for Eternity.

Born so quiet

We scarcely heard

God's delightful

Living Word.
