I Need Answers

My days are full of sorrow,
Why is there no sunshine left to borrow?
My parents would just say,
"It's His plan, he'll send you a golden ray"
If that's the case why will no one stay?
Day after day abandonment awaits my doorstep.
I try to retrace my steps but still can't find my way.
I need answers.

If everything is in the works of the "Lord" up above,
why am I sitting here writing this poem,
hoping someone can relate.
Cause I'm lost in a maze of bad days,
praying (to Him) ill find my way.
I try and look away from the pain,
but it's no sunshine all rain.
If He is listening I ask, no beg, of you,
take this cancer away.
I need answers.
