Thasnksgiving 2002

Thanksgiving Day 2001

Today, of all Thanksgiving days,
our land remains in pain and fear,
ashes burning still and fire ablaze,
where gardens flourished, only tears
and a veil of sadness on the face.

¡Cry no more, my land of peace
and joy!. Pilgrims of today,
we sail again the ship of faith,
lasting peace not too far away.

Thanks, ¡Oh my Lord and Lord
of all who live  and die,
of those still unborn,
and of our souls in prayer!

Thanks for giving us this day,
of all the days of thanks,
to fly away into its glorious dawn,
for Peace and Love have won
the battle for us all across the world.
