Sonnet
Whispers to and from
You don't want anyone to hear
Thinking I am dumb
Knowing I am sitting near

Something is not right
The rising fire of hate
Your eyes filled with fright
Will I take the bait

What can be so bad
You don't want me to know
Will it make me mad
Why would you sink that low

I will not fall into your trap
Your secret world is not for me
Your words are like a strap
And finally I'm free
