Only time will tell

Heartbreaks and excitement, love and hate
I've felt a little too much of these recently
And now my heart is tired and my mind feral
And all I know is my life's changed.
I was just sitting, watching things happen
but never knew they'd get to me so bad
it's not like these have broken me,
No!
I have been strong and I am proud of that
I've also had tears and I'm proud of that
I've been happy and lost and confused
I've lived the best of my fantasies
while being in the worst of my nightmares
and all I know is I'm tired
All I know is I've been just an inch away from realising my dreams and it kills!
All I know is I'm left with nothing!
Nothing but memories and lessons
I creat art and I'm gifted with these prompts
The emotions that I've felt are all mine!
Nothing can take these away
So all that I've felt, the love, the hate
All of it, will be a part of me
 a part of my poetries
Now and forever.
How blind was I to see love where it didn't exist
How blind was I to be completely oblivious to the hate
Am I really that clueless or was I doing it intentionally
Am I really that weak to see things only the way I want
Or am I strong enough to romantize these moments
Only time will tell
And I'll wait
Now and forever, cause I'm all that I've got!

About this poem

This poem is about times when people go through a ton of emotions at the same time, they cannot figure out how to overcome these or even process these. It's about that phase of your life when all the emotions you go through are entangled and all you know is that these will stay with you no matter what and one day you might figure them out.
