I was born that way

I’m a good person I was born that way life has changed me sex, liqour, money changed me I don’t know when it happened I just know it did but I’m a good person I was born that way people will never understand me because I wont  let them I want to fix everyone’s problems but no one try’s to fix mine I’m a good person I was born that way sometimes the way I love confuses and angers the ones I’m close to I try to explain but they don’t get it they never will maybe I’m to blunt or maybe I’m just crazy I love truth because I’ve been lied to so much lies only hurt when it’s from someone you want the truth from. I’m a good person I was born that way. Why do I feel like I need to protect everyone but not myself why do I feel like everyone will love me if I show them how loyal I am loyalty is just a word it means nothing. I’m a good person I was born that way. I want Love but I’m afraid of true commitment sometimes I think will I ever be loved it’s not likely that’s what i tell myself everyday you’ll mess it up that’s what crosses my mind I’ve done it many times before so I always sit alone mostly thinking of regret but I refuse to settle like the others. I’m a good person I was born that way I always said if I could sing the world would know me and I’d find love but I wake up everyday still talentless sometimes I wish I could stay in the world my thoughts have created for me but life doesn’t work that way so I live my life hoping the best but it never seems to go that way maybe I’m to sensitive I’ve embraced that feeling I’m Ok with it i guess it defines me I’m a sensitive loving regret filled being. I’m a good person I was born that way.

It's a complete reflection of myself. Anyone with depression and want others to understand what its really like, well this is it. Brilliantly written.
