How

Kailynbrown 1988 (Spokane)

.                   She sat in silence behind the bed. Her eyes burned with hot tears but she continued to make no sound. She new if she did he would kill her. Sweat slowly dripped off of her chin as she trembled in fear. She could hear the foot steps getting closer and closer to the bedroom door. She flattened herself out on the floor and quickly scooted herself underneath the bed. She held her hands over her own mouth to prevent from making any noises. The floor boards creeks eerily under his large steel toe boots. His dirty oil stained hands gripped the door nob with ease. Slowly turning it. The door pushed open gently. He slowly walked around the bedroom. He stopped, his foot an inch from her face. She curled inside of her blood soaked sweatshirt, she lay holding her hand tightly over her mouth and nose trying not to even breath. She could hear her own heart beat, it's hard pounding could be felt through out her whole body. Outside she could hear the barking of a dog. Her eyes snapped shut pushing out a gush of warm tears down her swollen cheeks as she felt his presence leave the room. She let go of her face and exhaled deeply, gasping for fresh hair, how was she going to get home
