Father Of Time

To my Father, I would love to have walked in your shoes.
If only I could turn back the hands of time and see the world through your eyes
Only then could I truly understand what makes you the amazing father that you are
I would have loved to have known you as a kid-what a wonder that would be
Or to see the world as you did as a teenager -young and still full of dreams
What makes a great father are his life experiences.
Oh what would I give to see you as a young man-strong and ready to conquer the world
You were able to command love and respect from everyone around you
Life made you an amazing father -but you were much more
Through all of the struggles and good times, you were always there.
Always there to teach us right from wrong
And guide us threw all life's challenges
To understand you is to understand myself
So this is to my father whom I would loved to have walked in your shoes
