Everything You Do
Marie-Carline 1964 (Nassau)
Everything You Do
Means so much to me
Makes me wonder about the wonders of your next action
Your “Hi" on my phone screen awakes my emotion
I contemplate and act out the “What-if"
I humble myself to you even when you’re not with me
Always giving loyalty to the memories you’ve shared with me
But your actions don’t correlate to your spoken words
Tears in your absence is the definition of your love for me, but yet
You Say “I think about you and love you more than you know"
You say you love me, but then you shun me
You love me conditionally, but expect me to love you unconditionally
I said, I’m in love with you
You say, “though it sounds selfish, the ball is in your court"
You’re not asking me for loyalty, but
You disapprove of a new relationship
You embrace singleness
You title yourself “Free-Spirited"
What does that mean anyway?
Free spirited to purposely take and not give?
No! I don’t mean the physical sexual involvement
Because, “Damm! you are so good at that"
Do you mean free spirited to imprison your real emotions
As you create your imaginative throne, your illusionist kings chair
Submissiveness of my femininity thrills your twisted sense of love
Your engineered perception of love are antics of your past
You are enigmatic even to your own ego that you appear lost
Moving forward will be hard but I am quite sure the margin of error will be reduced
As you rely on only yourself, alone is all you will be!
I need company, you offer “Singleness"
I commit to you, you commit to yourself
Your intended action was always to give no reaction
I know that because, I have realized the superficial and underlying truth is;
Now, that the ball is in the court of which both you and I are standing in,
We’ve both walked out on it
The game you came to play, I could never learn the rules to
It’s just not as familiar to me as it is for you
Remember “Everything you do now" will be undone
Other than God, every Master has a master
