Apology letter”

I’m so sorry Son
Believe me ,please!!!!
I didn’t want to do this
But I couldn’t see another way
I’m in desperate need for your forgiveness son !!!
Reality isn’t what is being portrayed
I know it’s hard to believe that it wasn’t what it looked like
So let me explain
They wouldn’t leave me alone son
Constantly telling me ,that I was living wrong
Repeating
“This is the correct way “
They worried about my sanity and safety ,son
THEY STARTED TO LOOK AT ME A DIFFERENT WAY !
They even questioned my skills and capabilities in raising your siblings son
So I had to do it
Pretending to move on was the only way
Yes,it’s true love
Im so ashamed
I boxed up all your things
And put them all away
It hurt way more then what it looked like
A new level of pain
No one truly understands my decision
Nor the “cause and effect
I thought I made the right decision
Hold on ,let me continue to explain
I know you feel like I did u wrong
HOW COULD I HAVE REMOVED YOUR CARSEAT OF THE CAR?????
But believe me PLEASE!!
It’s just a distraction to mislead
You mean the world to me !!!!
But I had to pretend
So they can think ,that I was “okay “
I know
I sold myself so cheap !
FORGIVE ME PLEASE!!!?
I sacrificed my true “emotions and thoughts
In exchange of a little bit of so  “peace “.

About this poem

After my 3 month old son passed away ,I had a lot of guilt ,so I wrote him a letter hoping it would reach him and he would understand and forgive me for my decisions.
