BIOGRAPHY OF SEKHOBO WA HA MOSHE Sekhobo Moshe known as Sekhobo wa ha Moshe is the fast growing after sought poet that inspires, teaches and provoke thoughts in Sesotho. He was born in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho came to South Africa in 2013, A published author of the series of poems, titled Monokotshwai and a published author of Sesotho Novel called “Keledi tsa ho se mamele”, an interesting read that is available in audio as well, an author of short stories, TV and Radio dramas. He is a regular voice in one of the country's biggest radio station, Lesedi FM (SABC) He started to toil in the arts dated in 2008. In 2014 he joined De Wee production, working with creatives and training upcoming poets in the company. A custodian of an entrepreneurship and thought leadership movement called the heavyweight class. A founder of the company called “Yaka Nalane Arts Development Centre” which means (My history) Shining on stage in events such as Macufe, Graham’s town international Arts Festival held in Eastern Cape Province, where he represented Free State province in 2018. Free State arts festival, Kimberley book fair in the Northern Cape Province, Multilingual Mokete Featival held by University of the Free State, Global African Language Conference held by University of the Free State in 2019, Hakena thaka arts celebration, Oliver Tambo and Fedal Castro unveiling statute of 100 years’ celebration of honour and more. He performed in JB Marks Education Trust Fund’s graduation ceremony in 2017 held in Santon, He performed in the Wedding held in the North West Province in 2017, He performed in the wedding held in Lesotho in 2019, He also performed in Morning Live Show at SABC in 2018. He became a praise poet of the premier of the Free State Mme Sefora Sisi Ndombela in 2018 at Clarence, He also became a praise tamosbloem@gmail.com 071 988 0522 “uniting creative minds” poet for the newly appointed Bafana Bafana coach Mr Molefi Ntseki in 2019, He performs widely in corporate events, social gatherings, weddings and even in funerals. With many accolades behind his name, he graduated cumlaude in his hard earned diploma in marketing management from Motheo Tvet College in South Africa Free State in 2016 and completed his B-Tech Degree in marketing management at the Central University of Technology in 2018. An award winner of Macufe Word fest poetry award in 2017, a winner of best Macufe exhibitor at Arts and crafts market in 2019 Macufe, held by the department of arts and culture in Free State Province. He became nominated in 2019 to compete among 9 South African provinces in 2000 nominees at the National level representing the Free State province with Sesotho performing poetry in live your dream south African youth awards that was held in Durban, He is the winner of 2019/2020 AVBOB Poetry Competition in the national level, he is working with Central University of Technology in engineering department together with its Language department, Pansalb (Pan South African Language Board), Department of Arts culture & Recreation as well as University of the Free State on Terminologies translation project, compiling a Sesotho engineering, Bio medical, Management Science and Education terminologies forming a Sesotho Terminology Dictionary, he is a regular voice in one of the country's biggest radio station, Lesedi FM (SABC) and local radio station such as Motheo FM, CUT FM Covsie FM. He is currently selected in Continental Afro Science Translation Team under African Union Support, Translating Science and Technology Terminologies to Sesotho, this is aimed to assist all African students to be able to study with their indigenous languages.
