A Night of Bliss

Himanshu Garg 2004 (Mumbai)

She said " isn't the moon lovely",
Referring to me, trying to say something,
Under the pale shimmer of crescent light,
She's hiding her warmth in her eyes.

After hearing that, i got an anxiety attack,
Heart started beating fast,
Didn't know how reply to her,
As I had already fallen for her.

It took a moment of break, for me to say yes,
Trying to arrange a phrase to answer her in that,
I said " it's beautiful as you are"
Refering to her trying to comfort her asap.

Putting the hand on her shoulder,
Pulling her little closer,
I hugged her for first time,
It relieved the havoc pain of mine.

She said " the world is cruel",
Referring to me, telling the truth,
I said " i can endear the pain with you",
I can't bear the allegations without you.

Let them judge, let them say,
We're not going to break whatever they say,
Let our love affect them everyday,
One day, we will succeed in our gay.

About this poem

It's an imagination of mine of a scenario that there is a boy and girl sitting on a bench in the park under the light of the moon and making memories with each other
