Kimberly
Sol Tayko 1996 (Manila)
Kiss me under the bed of stars that twinkled in the sky.
Hug me until our bodies produce flames.
Hold me like the galaxy holds all the planets.
Love me harder when my demons obscure my whole existence.
In the midst of my busy day, I’m always daydreaming to be with you,
Your absence just makes my heart monochromatic.
When I think of us being apart, all I feel is sorrow.
Hush! This tragedy is not overdramatic.
My love how can something like this be so real?
A stunning mystery embedded behind those dazzling eyes.
Hidden beneath the immense gaze, there is something surreal.
Drown with thoughts for sometimes, you’re cold as ice.
Broke my walls, unguarded my sanctuary,
Had to compromise but I don’t want this feeling slip away.
Freedom of mind, freedom of soul,
Found myself losing control.
Every broken piece of you is beautiful,
It’s more than just a physical connection which I adore.
Craving to dive the depths of your soul.
Unraveling the cliché, maybe fate just painted us to be together.
Remembering days when my world turned upside down,
Beyond this place of wrath and tears,
You nonchalantly entered the boundary and hold my hand.
You’re doomed coz losing you is now my biggest fear.
Like an avalanche you got my heart so quick.
Full of wonders, is this some kind of a trick?
Being with you makes me vulnerable,
It is you and no one else whom I willingly surrender myself to.
You are my yellow,
You brighten my day and bring a golden glow,
My love, forgive me if I stumble and fall.
I promise to love you today and forevermore.
