Not My End

Edward Otoo 2001 (Gomoa Nyanyano)

I have worked tirelessly over the years,
They gave me special names and titles,
And I’m so loved by them,
To them I'm an exceptional and discipline student

What happened this time?
For I couldn’t make it to their expectations,
I could have done better,
And have disappointed them,
I feel so sorry for myself
Am I losing my essence?

 I would be laughed at,
And become the odd one when friends meet.
 I would be forgotten,
 For all my achievements,
 But I won’t give up,
And fight again for the true,
Meaning of that special names and titles,
I won’t let the world judge me by this,
But I would do all my best,
To be the best I can ever be,
And not my end.
