Time is changing

Free verse
Time is changing
Time goes by
But in my mind
I'm only five

Scared and crying
Locked away
Hoping praying
For a better day

She's my mom
Why don't she care
He's my dad
Who's never there

He uses my body
Confuses my mind
And throws me away
Until next time

What did I do
To make this happen
What did I say
Can I take it away

Time is changing
Time goes by
But there will never
Be a good place to hide
