The Time is Right

Kevin Anderson 1965 (Ill)

The time is right for a pause
Time is right to  think about the reason or the cause
Peace or chaos entertains one and all
They are the side effects of a trumpeted grand rise or a drum roll for the final fall

Take this time to formulate a scam or a grand plan
It’s all about the situation at hand
Win or lose, trumpet or drum roll, victory or defeat
The time is right to stand tall or just take a seat

The time is right to suffer wrong or right now
Does one steal a sip of or take drink of the milk or does one buy the cow
Is a bird in hand better than getting the two left in the bush
The time is right to stand fast or do you need to be pushed

Make a choice to raise one's voice in order to be heard
The time is right to use some action verbs
The time is right for a pause
Time is right to  think about the reason or the cause

From ghetto fabulous to military standards with customs and courtesies. The Path taken in life from the United States of America to far and distant lands has indubitably exposed me bare. The adventure has made the person; the man. Born in Illinois, raised in East St. Louis and Royal Lakes, from there the fam hightailed it to California. Dallied in Inglewood then Bompton or Compton, some do say. Signed my name on the dotted line bringing the world into full view. I joined the United States Air Force in 1986, fully retired in 2016, 30 years of honorable service and of making life do what it does so I can do what I do when I do what I do communicating my thoughts or a few. more…
