OK again

Feeling like Gods starting to really hate me,
Deep down I know he’s letting me hurt so he can save me.
Each night the sun like my hopes, fade, killing another day,
When morning comes she shows herself again but there’s no light on my face.
The demons voices fill my head, louder than thunders call,
Can’t give in, can’t give up, so many to love, I can’t let myself fall.
Nights are bad, my days are a nightmare,
I can see home over the next horizon, the one always just over there.
Wish I could just say that I’m OK in the end,
Right now all I can say is I’m b-r-OK-e-n.
Nobody understands this place I’m in, purgatory on Earth,
Every day a struggle, some kinder, but by far the worst 365 since my birth.
Those thoughts creep in when it seems there’s no end in sight,
I must overcome those voices, screw those demons, fight to live with all my might.
Must be a martyr, a heart of pain, tomorrows tears can’t last,
Just outlive tomorrow and tomorrow becomes my past.
Guide me lord, feels like I’m driving blind, you gave Moses the strength to part the seas,
All I need is strength to open my eyes and see what you have planned for me.
I’m begging, on my knees, take that B and R, then the E and N,
Give me strength to just say “I’m OK” again.
