We desecrate what once was sacred
Engrave our names into padded pews
Remove my alms from the golden plate
Certainly, already paid my dues
Holy water, a perfect tonic,
(Only when mixed with gin)
Comic or ironic?
I sing the loudest hymn
Excuse me, Father
Full of grace
I know exactly what I do
(Does free thinking equal sin?)
