Box o choc'lats

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Life is like a box o choc'lats
Ya never know what ya gonna get.
Life is like a ticking clock
Ya never know when its gonna stop.
Life is like a grain o sand
Ya never know who's gonna understand.
Life is like a glass o wa'ta
Ya never know when ya gonna have a daughter.
Life is like a brand new toy
Ya never know when ya gonna see ya boy.
Life is like an hours peace
Ya never know depths o glory's release.
Life is like a fish outdo'ors
Ya never know when it's gonna hit the sho'res.
Life is like a breath of air
Ya never can con'tain a loving sta're.
Life is like a special tear
Ya never know when Gods gonna he'ar.
Life is like a ray o sunshine
Ya never know who's touched by the devine.
Life is like a beating drum
Ya never know why someone's in an asylum.
Life is like imprisoned love
Ya never know gentler than a dove.
Life is like a seeded tree
Ya never know how tall its gonna be.
Life is like an eagle in the sky
Ya never know how high its gonna fly.
Life is like a piece o art
Ya never know when its gonna start.
Life is like a flower in springtime
Ya never know when its yo'ur time t' shine.
Life is like a Christmas choir
Ya never know how high ya gonna aspire.
Life is like a roaming deer
Ya never know when its gonna appear.
Life is like a needed tool
Ya never know when its gonna be a mule.
Life is like a endless sack
Ya never know when its gonna crack.
Life is like fighting a duel
Ya never know who's gonna be the fool.
Life is like a bottle o whiskey
Ya never know when its gonna make ya frisky.
Life is like a aching heart
Ya never know when ya gonna part.
Life is like turning on a light
Ya never know if its gonna be bright.
Life is like a wa'wk by the sho're
Ya never know when ya gonna want mo're.
