Where is my pill?

My hands tremble
in an awkward jiggle
I try to control the nauseous feeling
If only I listened to the whistle
that blew in my brain
I wouldn't be here suffering a migraine

Where is my pill?
It is the answer to this sway
in my hands
to this itch in my palms
to the restlessness
to the breathlessness
Oh! When will I stop this recklessness?

If only I could concentrate
I would be able to obliterate
the longing for my pill
and reduce the urge to kill
This little tingle in my mind
asking me to chase the wind

I am suffering from this carelessness and an awkward addiction
to reduce the reaction
of this ridiculous situation

Where is my pill?
Alas! I found it right on the table
it gave me a puckish giggle
To me, it was a beautiful chuckle
when I took my pill, I unwound and straightened
Call it an addiction, call it putrefaction of the body, but I call it a temporary redemption.

About this poem

I suffer from a disorder and have to take my pill. I often forget to take my pills because of my short-term memory. Hence, I wrote this poem to express how I feel when I do not take them.
